Openforms

Do you want to provide downloadable forms in PDF format dont require printing?

If so, Openforms are for you. In the course of the last 12 months, we have had to fill in dozens of forms. Most of these were downloaded from the net; only one of them allowed the form to be filled in online. It kind of misses the point.

With Openforms, you can create the form rapidly using the open-source OpenOffice desktop suite, then save as a pdf form. With no further action, the users of the form can fill in the boxes; print them (with the entries fully legible) and then take the next step in the work flow (ie: sign, post or fax to you).

But you can take this concept one step further. With the i-Layer openforms.server, you can activate your forms such that pressing a 'submit' button in the document sends the data in electronic format directly to your own database. The user then concludes the work flow as before by signing and sending the form to you.

The openforms.server eliminates double or triple entry of information, by enabling a single transaction to update your systems.

We are in the final stages of production of openforms.server, so please check back here for more information.
